About the Artist

Kyle has been painting for around a decade. He started after he left Silicon Valley to pursue a different kind of lifestyle. Originally he would give away his paintings to friends and family as gifts, given he no longer had a lot of money (or desire) to purchase expensive gifts. Within a few years he was featured in an art gallery, where he was able to sell a number of pieces.

Over the years he has tried to keep painting when possible in this busy world, as it helps to keep sane. Once in a while he gets a commission for a big piece, which is always exciting.

Kyle mainly paints with acrylic paints, though the pieces can sometimes look like they are oil paintings. This is because Kyle often uses open acrylics, which look and behave a lot like oil paintings.
